Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Panoralink Business Solutions (pvt) Ltd (PV 00286766) uses cookies and similar technologies on the OneLMS platform, including the clazz.lk marketplace and the teacher and institute school sites. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser storage, work in the same way. We use them in three groups.

2. Essential Cookies (always on)

The service cannot work without these, so they do not need your consent. They are set on our own domains.

• Sign-in session (names start with "sb-"): keeps you signed in and protects your account. Lasts up to 30 days.
• onelms_active_school and onelms_active_org: remember which school or organisation you are using. Last up to 30 days.
• cq_session, cq_contact and cq_claim: keep you in a live quiz game and remember the contact you verified for it.
• zoom_oauth_state and youtube_oauth_state: used for 10 minutes when a teacher connects a Zoom or YouTube account.
• Your cookie choice: a small record on your device of whether you accepted or declined the groups below.

3. Functional Features (only when you use them)

• Page translation (googtrans): if you choose to translate a page, Google's Translate scripts load and a cookie remembers your language. Nothing loads until you choose a language.
• Videos and live classes: when you play a video or join a live class, YouTube (Google) or Zoom may set their own cookies.
• Browser storage: small items that remember your screen settings, such as whether a guide panel is open or a quiz referral code.

4. Analytics and Advertising (only if you accept)

If you accept, we measure visits and the results of our advertising with Google Analytics, Meta and TikTok. We do not load their scripts in your browser. Instead, your browser sends a small notice to our own server, and our server forwards the page address and a random event number to those services. The page address keeps campaign tags such as utm_, fbclid, gclid and ttclid, which let a service match a visit to an advertisement you clicked. We leave out sign-in, invitation, password-reset and redeem pages, and anything that follows a # sign.

If you decline, nothing is sent.

5. Your Choice

The first time you visit, a banner asks you to accept or decline the non-essential groups. Declining is as easy as accepting. We send nothing for analytics or advertising until you accept. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the page footer. We record your choice so we can show what you chose and when.

6. Browser Settings

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in.

Governing Law & Regulatory Framework

This document is intended to comply with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, including, where relevant, the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 and the Electronic Transactions Act No. 19 of 2006.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by negotiation; failing that, the courts of Colombo have exclusive jurisdiction, save that any dispute may instead, by agreement of the parties, be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Act No. 11 of 1995, seated in Colombo and conducted in English. Nothing in this clause limits any right or remedy a consumer has under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 9 of 2003.
